Be prepared for a very long blog post because every single minute of Alyssa and Fayaz’s Deer Creek Golf Club Wedding was so beautiful I could not narrow down the images to share here!! Alyssa and Fayaz planned a wedding day that was so personal to them and their story, but it was also such a fun day. I started the day photographing Alyssa’s getting ready and I seriously could not handle her bridal details and her gorgeous gown. Alyssa has the most amazing attention to detail- her invitations, florals, bridesmaids dresses, menus, seating charts, and all details of the day all coordinated around a blush pink and floral theme. I loved capturing her getting ready with her mom and sister- all three of them were just glowing and are such sweethearts; I could have kept photographing them all day! Fayaz appreciated his details just as much; as a big Roger Federer fan he got special Roger Federer socks for him and his groomsmen to wear. I just love seeing the creative ways my couples incorporate their personalities into their wedding day!

When I arrived at Deer Creek Golf Club, my jaw dropped when I saw how stunning the venue was. Alyssa and Fayaz’s wedding hall had floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course and letting in drool worthy natural light. Each table had gorgeous fresh florals as well as personalized menus and name tags for each guest. Keeping with the blush pink and floral theme, outside the hall Alyssa and Fayaz had a beautiful seating chart and welcome sign as well as pink drinks for the guests during cocktail hour. Fayaz’s father is no longer with us and I love how Alyssa and Fayaz incorporated a sweet poem and photo of him to their receiving table, and Fayaz also wore his late father’s watch. It was a beautiful way to honour him and you could tell how loved he was and how much his presence was missed during all of Fayaz and Alyssa’s wedding events.

Alyssa is Ismaili and Fayaz is Ithnasheri so they performed two nikkahs. They had performed their Ismaili Nikkah ceremony the day before (which you should check out here), and they did their Ithnasheri Nikkah at the venue before their reception. After the sweet and intimate ceremony we captured photos with their bridal party- who were just as gorgeous and sweet as the couple- and then got the most beautiful bride and groom portraits around the golf course with the fall foliage. It was then time for their reception which was full of heart felt (and hilarious) speeches, games, absolutely delicious food, and the most epic sparkler exit.
