The most emotional part of Fatema and Wasif’s wedding day was the Rukhsati. Fatema was hugging her dad goodbye and you could tell he was trying not to cry. But he couldn’t hold it in for long and the tears started falling. Fatema’s mom came to comfort him and they all hugged in silence. There was not a dry eye in the room.
Although the end of the night was an emotional one, Fatema and Wasif’s Wedding day was a beautiful and lively celebration! They created a lot of the little details themselves like the gorgeous seating chart, the table numbers, and instead of a guestbook they had guest ‘blocks’ for their guests to leave them a note that could create a jenga tower! What a cute idea!!
Check out my favourites from their wedding day below, and come back to the blog tomorrow to see their Walima! Fatema and Wasif, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your absolutely stunning day and for making me feel like family!
