Photographing Imrahn and Nida’s Wedding Day was almost like photographing two weddings in one day! We started the day early with Nida and Imrahn getting ready for their Nikkah event, and then went to the Aga Khan Museum for their bride and groom photos as well as photos with their gorgeous bridal party! Their Nikkah was held at Scarborough Jamatkhana and was a beautiful (an super organized) wedding ceremony! After Imrahn and Nida’s Nikkah, it was then time for their Reception. Both of them wore new outfits for their reception, and that means we also did a second bride and groom portrait session, this time as husband and wife!! The reception included some Ismaili ceremonies, speeches by their family and friends, and they danced the rest of the night away, including their first dance sung live by Nida’s cousin!
