Dylan is one of my past client Sherini’s brother, and I was so excited when him and Javaria reached out asking me to photograph some portraits for them on their Nikkah day! They were planning on having a nikkah with just their immediate families in a small tent in their parent’s backyard, but because the day ended up being very windy, they told me they ended up doing their Nikkah in the garage!! I love hearing about how couples are getting creative with getting married with covid restrictions!

After their Nikkah, Dylan and Javaria met me at Mint Room Studios in the Ballroom to photograph their portraits, and I had so much fun with them! What I loved about these two is that they were able to do an awesome model face, but also had the most beautiful smiles that looked great for candid shots too. Mint Room also had a beautiful spring setup in one corner of the room with a SWING, so we got some shots with Javaria on the swing and I was in love!! After that we went to Polson Pier for a few quick shots since that was the spot that Dylan proposed, so it was really special to them. See my favourites from their portrait session below!!
