Mariam and Adil may look familiar because I photographed their Engagement Session and Nikkah earlier this year, and after having to postpone the rest of their events, they were finally able to hold their Baraat and Walima a few weeks ago! If I’ve learned anything about these two, it’s that they have impeccable attention to detail! Photographing their love and joy as well all the beautiful details of their event was just a dream. Some parts of their Baraat that I loved were Adil’s kulla (hat) that matched Mariam’s lengha, the impressive decor by Lemon Truffle Designs, the door game led my Mariam’s bridesmaids where they stopped Adil from entering until he answered questions correctly about Mariam and paid up, and Adil’s emotional reaction to seeing Mariam enter with her parents. Their Walima event was full of so much fun including a photobooth, a bubble tea station (so cool), and hilarious speeches by their family and friends. Mariam and Adil, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding and being such genuine and hilarious people!!! I hope you enjoy your images!!!
