When I arrived at Nida’s house to photograph her getting ready photos, she had a table set up for me with all of her details including lots of personal touches. Nida loves legos, so when Nadish proposed, he created a ring box out of legos for her to propose with!! It was the perfect personal item to include in their getting ready photos. Nadish’s family also created a beautiful dupatta for Nida with their names in english and urdu, as well as their wedding date embroidered on the edges, which I absolutely loved.
After their nikkah ceremony at Jame Masjid, Nida and Nadish’s original plan was to cut their cake and do family photos in the downstairs hall at the mosque, but a few days before their wedding date all banquet halls were forced to close again, so they decided to move the setup they had planned to their home and just cut their cake with their immediate family. Before we went back to their house, we got some portraits at Adamson Estate, and we were so lucky for such a beautiful sunny day in the middle of November!!
