Nida and Rahim planned a 1920’s Great Gatsby theme wedding reception, and they chose the perfect venue- The Eglinton Grand- an old movie theatre in downtown Toronto that has now been transformed into a wedding venue! It even has the original outdoor ticket booth as well as frames for movie posters at the front where Nida and Rahim added in their own personalized movie posters. Their reception turned out absolutely beautiful and something I really loved was how they incorporated their own personal touches into the event. Nida and Rahim both love hot sauce so for their favours they gave everyone personalized hot sauce bottles. They also had late night food stations of their favourite foods- poutine, fondue and popcorn!
The entire night was full of so much fun- starting with Nida and Rahim’s first dance reveal where their guests watched from a level above, the most hilarious speeches, bollywood dance performances by Nida and her friends (as well as a surprise appearance by Rahim), the father daughter dance, and a lively open dance floor. We also got a few photos outside the theatre at the end of the night and these photos looked like something from a red carpet premiere!! Nida and Rahim, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding- after two years of postponements it was definitely worth the wait! Enjoy my favourites from your stunning day at the Eglinton Grand!
