Rachel and Ajin have been planning their wedding since 2019 and had originally booked me for their September 2020 wedding day. When the pandemic hit and it seemed like things wouldn’t be better for September, they decided to reschedule for June 2021. As many other couples planning weddings right now, they hoped that things would be semi normal by June of this year, but unfortunately we were still in lockdown. Rachel and Ajin wanted to get married and not postpone again, so they decided to go ahead, even if it meant they could only have 10 people at their wedding! Luckily, step one of the reopening started on THE DAY of their wedding so they were able to hold their ceremony at the limited capacity, and an outdoor reception with 10 people! It wasn’t the day they originally planned, but it turned out to be an amazing one!!
When I arrived at Rachel’s house for her getting ready photos, she had all her details ready for me and had cleared out an entire room for our getting ready photos, making it a dream to photograph! My jaw dropped when I saw how beautiful her dress was and it looked even more stunning on her! Rabita photographed Ajin getting ready with his family and I just loved his navy blue suit and blush pink tie. Rachel and Ajin had a beautiful ceremony at their church, and then we made our way to Riverwood Conservancy for their portraits. It was a HOT day, but these two posed for me for as long as I needed and I could not get over their beautiful smiles and laughs. They ended off the day with an intimate reception in their parents backyard under a tent with an absolutely beautiful set up.
See my favourites from Rachel and Ajin’s intimate wedding day below! Rachel and Ajin, I’m so grateful that you allowed me to capture your day, and I hope you are enjoying being MARRIED!!!
