After photographing Azraa and Malik’s beach engagement session, and their Ismaili Centre of Toronto Nikkah, I could not wait to witness their wedding reception at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax!!! The forecast called for rain, but there was not a drop of rain in sight when the day came around. In fact, the sun started shining and we got the most beautiful summer day.

I absolutely loved documenting the entire day from Malik and Azraa getting ready, to capturing their portraits on the golf course (while trying not to get hit by golf balls from the golf tournament), and photos with their bridal party. But my favourite part of the day was the laughs and energy during their reception. Their friends and family did not mess around when it came to the speeches and really brought out the most hilarious stories about Azraa and Malik. The entire room was brought to immense laughter and tears.
