As soon as I met Haseeb and Mahzeb, I just knew they were the ultimate Photography by Azra couple!! They are both such lively people and SO much fun to be around!! I had a blast photographing their Pakistani Nikkah at Jame Masjid last weekend. They had postponed their nikkah a few times, but ultimately decided to go ahead with their new date, even if it meant they could only have 10 people in attendance. They ended up setting up a livestream of their nikkah for their friends and family who weren’t able to join in person at Jame Majid which was such a wonderful idea!
Haseeb and Mahzeb told me they really wanted to capture pink blossoms in their portrait shoot, but we weren’t sure if we’d catch then in full bloom, and were also a little worried about the weekend crowds. On the day of their Nikkah, I found a patch of beautiful blossom trees near the side of a main road and asked if they would be down to take some shots there. Haseeb and Mahzeb immediately said yes, and I’m so grateful for their trust in me because the images from that spot are some of my favourites EVER! They allocated lots of time for their portraits, so we even had time to go to Humber Arboretum afterwards to get some more portraits with the beautiful spring greenery!! See the highlights from Haseeb and Mahzeb’s Nikkah below, including their adorable personalized cookie favours!!
Haseeb and Mahzeb, thanks so much for allowing me to capture your day, and I hope you are enjoying married life!!
