Do you ever meet people and just feel drawn to their energies? That’s how I felt with Nilima and Rashed! They are both such sweet and calm people, and they made me feel so at peace being around them! Not to mention that Nilima is so kind and thoughtful! Since their nikkah was going to be during Ramadhan, the first thing she asked when she inquired with me was if photographing would be too tiring in Ramadhan. How thoughtful is that??!!

I just loved photographing these two for their nikkah. They had a small nikkah ceremony at Sayeda Khadija Masjid with just a few family members, and everyone else joined in on zoom. After their ceremony we made our way to Osgoode Hall in Toronto to photograph their portraits and we got lucky with a bit of sunshine peaking through the clouds! Nilima and Rashed were such naturals in front of the camera that they barely needed any instruction. See my favourites from their Sayeda Khadija Masjid Nikkah below!
