I have so much to say about Hiba and Blal’s Wedding! Hiba is one of my past grooms Nabeel‘s sister, and ever since her and Blal booked me for their wedding last year, I have been so excited for their wedding day at Lakeshore Convention Centre.
When the pandemic hit, Hiba and Blal considered lots of options including postponing their wedding, having a small backyard nikkah, and lots of other ideas. But, thankfully, as the date got closer and venues were allowed to reopen, they decided to stick with their original venue but had to follow some restrictions. Hiba and Blal had to cut down their guest list dramatically, and the hall had separate rooms for eating and a separate room for the event. Everyone was required to wear masks until they got to their table which was shared with just their family. Although things were tricky and very different than what they imagined, I’m still so glad these two were still able to get married!
I started the day capturing Hiba’s getting ready photos where she had some of the most stunning details ever, and we also did a super cute first look with her family that I just loved. Rabita captured Blal getting ready at his family farm, and you’ll see some super fun photos he took with a tractor! After some stunning portraits at Adamson Estate, and a beautiful nikkah ceremony and speeches, it was time for Hiba to say goodbye to her family. The rukhsati was so emotional, even I was brought to tears!
See my favourites from their Lakeshore Convention Centre Wedding below. Hiba and Blal, thank you SO much for having me and for treating me like family!! I hope you are enjoying married life!!
