Nikhat and Akib had planned a huge bengali wedding for this past August, but unfortunately had to move it to next year because of the pandemic. They decided to still hold a small nikkah this year so they could get married! Rabita and I started off with their portraits at the Toronto Botanical Gardens, and then Rabita and Shani photographed their nikkah at Chandni Victoria. When I was heading to the gardens there was a bit of a drizzle starting so I was worried we’d get a lot of rain during our portraits, but thankfully we got an amazing sunny day!! Nikhat and Akib’s portraits are some of my favourites as these two wore the most beautiful outfits and had the cutest smiles!! After a beautiful nikkah, they watched the sweetest videos from their family and friends who weren’t able to make it to the nikkah, and finished off with the classic shoe game.
